Demi Moore is revisiting one of her most memorable beauty looks — and fans are loving it.
The 62-year-old Golden Globe–winning actress debuted her signature fringe once again, marking the first time she’s worn bangs since her celebrated turn as Erin Grant in the 1996 film Striptease. Moore revealed the transformation on Instagram on Monday, October 6, with a pair of striking side-by-side photos.
“Bangs — now and then. Thank you @gucci for letting me bring back the fringe for the first time since the Striptease days!” she captioned the post.
A Glamorous Return to a Classic Look
Moore’s hair makeover comes as part of her work with Gucci for the short film The Tiger, directed by Halina Reijn and Spike Jonze. In her post, she shared one fresh shot of herself in a casual white T-shirt and denim jeans — her dark hair styled in soft waves with long, sweeping bangs — and a nostalgic throwback image from her Striptease era.
Her hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, who has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, opened up about creating the look. “When @demimoore called me to share the exciting news about her new film with @gucci and that she wanted me to create the hair for the character, I had the chills!” he shared in his own Instagram post.
Giannetos worked closely with Gucci’s creative director Demna and the film’s team to finalize Moore’s updated style. “Demna had the idea of the bangs — the ‘GUCCI BANGS’ — and of course he always has the right vision,” the stylist said, noting that once the cut was crafted, they all knew it was the perfect choice for the project.
A Star Power Moment
Moore’s new look has already drawn praise from friends and fans. Her The Tiger co-star Keke Palmer commented “My girl” with heart-eye emojis, while Giannetos called the actress “literally mind-blowing” in her performance.
The style moment comes during a week of headline-making hair transformations — Nicole Kidman also debuted fresh bangs following her recent personal life changes — but Moore’s return to her iconic fringe carries a nostalgic Hollywood charm.
In The Tiger, Moore embodies high glamour, appearing in scenes wearing a glittering gold high-neck gown that radiates elegance. Paired with her new bangs, the look channels both her legendary 1990s screen presence and a bold modern edge.
Timeless and Effortless
Known for her glossy, jet-black hair often worn sleek and parted at the center, Moore proves that some looks never go out of style. By bringing back her iconic fringe nearly three decades later, she reminds fans why her beauty transformations continue to capture attention — effortlessly merging the past with the present.
