Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds recently made a charming visit to Rhode Island’s Faith Hill Care Farm, where they attended a local horse show on Sunday to cheer on their children, who were competing. The event, which took place in East Greenwich, saw the couple’s kids participate in the show, riding out of a barn in New York that competes in the same riding league as Faith Hill Care Farm.

Pam Maloof, the owner of the farm, shared how the show went and gave a glimpse of the couple’s warm and approachable nature. Lively and Reynolds’ children’s team earned the highest points at the competition, making it a memorable event for the family. Maloof described the couple as “lovely,” noting that they were kind to everyone at the event, taking photos, signing autographs, and offering words of encouragement to the young riders.

“They were lovely to everybody,” Maloof said. “They took photos and signed autographs with attendees. They also offered advice to the riders about the importance of hard work.”

Blake and Ryan’s friendly demeanor was also noted by Alicia Cotrone-Leo, the farm’s assistant manager, who had a chance to speak with Lively during the event. Cotrone-Leo shared that Lively approached her about their shared insulated Carhartt overalls, sparking a friendly conversation that felt effortless and natural. “It was lovely. There was no awkwardness with conversation, it flowed,” Cotrone-Leo remarked, adding that Lively was interested in her kids and had an easygoing, down-to-earth approach.

Reynolds, who is known for his quick wit and charm, also made an impact on the younger attendees. Cotrone-Leo’s two sons were thrilled to meet him and chat about his famous role as Deadpool. “He was great with them,” she said. “He’s amazing with kids. Got right down to their level, chit-chatted with them.” It’s clear that Reynolds’ natural warmth and approachability left a lasting impression.

After the horse show, the couple went to a local restaurant, where they treated the entire team and farm staff to lunch, further displaying their generosity and down-to-earth personalities. Maloof shared, “They went to a local restaurant and bought their team lunch and shared it with my staff. So they were lovely.”

This isn’t the first time Lively and Reynolds have visited Rhode Island. The couple, known for their close friendship with Taylor Swift, often visits the Ocean State, where Swift owns a home in the exclusive Watch Hill neighborhood. The stars have been spotted together on various occasions, with last year’s visit seeing them joined by other A-listers, including Travis Kelce and Bradley Cooper.

The family life of Lively and Reynolds is often in the spotlight, with their four children—James (10), Inez (8), Betty (5), and Olin (2)—frequently accompanying them on trips. Notably, Taylor Swift incorporated their children into her music, naming the songs “betty” and “Gorgeous” after Lively and Reynolds’ kids, cementing their bond with the famous singer.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds continue to captivate fans not only with their successful careers but also with their down-to-earth personalities and commitment to family life. Their recent visit to Faith Hill Care Farm is just another example of the couple’s genuine nature and their ability to make lasting connections with those they meet along the way.
