A source revealed that Lopez began her search in April, around the same time she listed April 26 as the official date of separation in her divorce filing. While she considered a private and luxurious property in Beverly Hills, Lopez ultimately decided on a different address.
This marks a notable shift from the Beverly Hills home she previously shared with Affleck. The couple, who purchased the property in June 2023 for just under $61 million, listed it off-market in mid-2024 before putting it up publicly in July. Despite its $68 million price tag, the home remains on the market.
Lopez and Affleck’s Real Estate Moves
Affleck, for his part, also moved forward with his own real estate decision, buying a $20.5 million Los Angeles home in July 2024. Described as “family-friendly” with the potential to serve as a bachelor pad, the property is located in a neighborhood popular with Hollywood A-listers.
Lopez finalized the sale of her long-listed New York City condo the same day she and Affleck legally ended their marriage. The four-bedroom, 7.5-bath Manhattan duplex, which had been on the market on and off for seven years, sold for $23 million on Lopez’s birthday.
