Malcolm Jenkins may have hung up his cleats, but his impact is far from over. Off the field, the two-time Super Bowl champion is leading a mission that’s changing thousands of lives—and most people don’t even know it. Through The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation (TMJF), founded in 2010, Jenkins is quietly feeding families, funding futures, and building a new generation of leaders in the very communities that shaped his journey: New Jersey, Ohio, New Orleans, and Philadelphia.
At the heart of this mission is TMJF’s signature scholarship program, Project R.E.W.A.R.D.S., which has awarded over $208,000 to 145 high school graduates. These “Malcolm Jenkins Scholars” receive between $1,000 and $2,500 each to help cover essential college costs. TMJF didn’t stop there. In partnership with College Track New Orleans, another $175,000 has reached over 450 students through the “Launch to College and Career” initiative, proving that Jenkins isn’t just cheering for young people—he’s investing in them.
Meanwhile, in cities like Camden and Newark, TMJF is tackling food insecurity head-on. Its Get Ready Fest® has served over 10,000 families—equating to 40,000 individuals—providing each with 40 pounds of groceries, school supplies, and health screenings. In 2024 alone, a $30,000 grant from the American Water Charitable Foundation helped fuel this mission. And during the holidays, TMJF’s Dinner Basket Surprise brought fully stocked meal baskets and gifts to families in need, delivering dignity and joy alongside food and essentials.
Jenkins is also closing the wealth gap through financial education. TMJF recently launched a 12-week course across Camden and Eastside High Schools, teaching students to take control of their financial futures. Combined with cultural enrichment programs like museum tours, mural projects, and Black business expos, TMJF’s work is comprehensive, uplifting, and deeply personal.
Led by Jenkins and his mother, Gwendolyn V. Jenkins, the foundation continues to grow—with a 3-star Charity Navigator rating underscoring its credibility. Malcolm Jenkins may be retired from the NFL, but he’s still scoring big—this time, for the kids who need it most.
